Wedding Flower Preservation UK

Wedding Flower Preservation UK

Your wedding flowers are part of one of the most important days of your life. Rather than letting them fade away after your wedding, we can carefully preserve your flowers and transform them into beautiful keepsakes that you can treasure for years to come.

At Nogard Creations, we specialise in wedding flower preservation, creating handcrafted resin keepsakes and framed displays from your own wedding flowers. From a few special petals to your entire bouquet, we offer a wide range of preservation options to suit your flowers, style and budget.

Based in Cambridgeshire, our husband-and-wife team accepts wedding flowers from couples across the UK. Every piece is made with care in our workshop, giving you a lasting way to remember your wedding day.

Why Preserve Your Wedding Flowers?

Your wedding flowers are more than just part of your wedding day — they can bring back memories of the people, places and moments that made it special.

Preserving your wedding bouquet gives you a way to keep those memories long after your wedding day has passed. Whether you choose to preserve your whole bouquet, a selection of your favourite flowers or just a few meaningful petals, your flowers can be transformed into a beautiful keepsake to display in your home.

We can create everything from smaller resin keepsakes to larger statement pieces and framed floral displays. You can also choose from a range of shapes, sizes and personalisation options, allowing your finished piece to be created around your flowers rather than choosing something that simply happens to fit them.

How Does Wedding Flower Preservation Work?

Every wedding bouquet is different, which is why we carefully assess your flowers when they arrive with us. The condition, size, variety and natural characteristics of your flowers can all affect how they dry and how they can be used in your finished piece.

Once we receive your flowers, we carefully prepare and dry them before selecting the best blooms and petals for your chosen keepsake. We then arrange your flowers within your selected design before carefully encapsulating them in resin or incorporating them into a framed display.

Because every bouquet is unique, we cannot guarantee that every individual flower will preserve exactly as it looked on your wedding day. Natural colour changes, variations in shape and differences between flowers are all part of the preservation process.

The result is a completely individual keepsake made using flowers from your own wedding day — something that can be displayed and enjoyed for years to come.

Choose Your Wedding Flower Preservation Keepsake

There are lots of different ways to preserve your wedding flowers, from small keepsakes containing a few special petals to larger pieces designed to showcase several of your favourite blooms.

Our flower preservation range includes resin hearts, display blocks, cubes, spheres, coasters and other decorative pieces, as well as framed flower displays and bespoke designs. We can also incorporate personal touches such as names, dates, gold or silver leaf and other finishing details on selected pieces.

The right option will depend on the size and condition of your flowers, how many blooms you would like to preserve and how you would like to display your finished keepsake.

How Much Does Wedding Flower Preservation Cost?

The cost of preserving your wedding flowers can vary depending on the size and type of keepsake you choose, how many flowers you would like to preserve and the design or personalisation you require.

We offer smaller keepsakes for preserving a few special petals or individual flowers, through to larger resin pieces, framed displays and bespoke designs containing a significant part of your bouquet. This means you can choose an option that suits both your flowers and your budget.

Our current flower preservation prices are shown on our website, so you can explore the different shapes, sizes and options available before deciding what is right for you.

When Should I Send My Wedding Flowers for Preservation?

If you would like to preserve your wedding flowers, it's important to think about preservation before your wedding day arrives. Fresh flowers naturally begin to change once they have been cut, so the sooner they can be prepared for preservation, the better.

We recommend arranging your flowers to be sent to us as soon as possible after your wedding. If you are using a florist, it's worth discussing your plans with them beforehand so everyone knows that the bouquet is being preserved.

We accept wedding flowers from across the UK and can provide guidance on how to package and send them safely to us. If you're unsure what to do with your flowers after your wedding, please get in touch and we'll be happy to advise you.

Find Out About Sending Your Flowers

How Long Does Wedding Flower Preservation Take?

Wedding flower preservation is a careful, time-consuming process, and we don't rush your flowers through the different stages involved in creating your finished keepsake.

Our minimum processing time is 30 weeks, but depending on the type of preservation, the size of your order and our current workload, your finished piece can take up to 12 months to complete.

We understand that this can feel like a long wait, but the preservation process requires patience. Your flowers need time to be carefully dried, prepared and incorporated into your chosen design, followed by the time needed to create and finish your resin or framed piece.

When you book with Nogard Creations, we'll keep you informed throughout the process so you know where your flowers are in their preservation journey. We would always rather take the time needed to create your keepsake properly than rush the process and compromise the finished result.

Wedding Flower Preservation FAQs

  1. Can you preserve my entire wedding bouquet?

Yes, depending on the size, condition and type of flowers in your bouquet. We offer a range of larger resin and framed preservation options that can accommodate multiple flowers from a bouquet. When your flowers arrive, we'll assess them and can advise on what is possible with your chosen piece.

2. Can you preserve just a few flowers or petals from my bouquet?

Absolutely. You don't need to preserve your entire bouquet. Small amounts of flowers or individual petals can be incorporated into many of our smaller resin keepsakes, allowing you to create something meaningful even if you only want to keep a small part of your wedding flowers.

3. What happens to my flowers when you receive them?

When your flowers arrive, we carefully assess them and then contact you via email to discuss what is possible or not possible with your flowers and if there will be any flowers left over before preparing and drying them for preservation. Every flower is different, so the drying and preparation process depends on the type, condition and natural characteristics of the flowers we receive.

4. Can you preserve flowers from any wedding bouquet?

We can preserve a wide range of flowers, but we cannot guarantee that every flower or variety will preserve successfully or retain exactly the same colour and shape as it had when fresh. The condition of your flowers, how they have been handled and how they have travelled to us can all affect the finished result. We'll always do our best with the flowers we receive.

5. How soon after my wedding should I send my flowers?

We recommend sending your flowers to us as soon as possible after your wedding. Fresh flowers naturally change once they have been cut, so prompt preparation is important. If you're planning to preserve your bouquet, we recommend making arrangements for your flowers before your wedding day so you know exactly what to do afterwards.

6. Can I send my wedding flowers to you by post?

Yes. We accept wedding flowers from customers across the UK. We'll provide guidance on preparing and packaging your flowers so they can be sent safely to us. If you're unsure about the best way to send your bouquet, please contact us before posting it.

7. How much does wedding flower preservation cost?

The price depends on the type and size of keepsake you choose, how many flowers you would like preserved and any personalisation or additional design options. We offer a wide range of pieces, from smaller keepsakes to larger bespoke displays. You can view our current prices and options through our flower preservation collection.

8. How long will my wedding flower preservation take?

Our minimum processing time is 30 weeks, but your finished piece can take up to 12 months depending on the type of preservation, the size of your order and our current workload. Flower preservation is a detailed process, so we allow the time needed to properly prepare your flowers and create your finished keepsake.

9. Can I personalise my wedding flower preservation?

Yes. Personalisation is available on many of our flower preservation pieces. Depending on the product, you may be able to add names, dates, messages or other design details. Some shapes have limitations on personalisation, so please check the individual product listing or contact us if you have something specific in mind.

10. What if I don't know which preservation piece is right for my flowers?

That's completely fine. Choosing a piece can depend on the size and number of flowers you have, as well as how you would like your finished keepsake to look. If you're unsure, get in touch with us and we can help you decide which options may work best for your flowers. We offer a deposit which gives you the option to receive the information and packaging instructions in your confirmation email then decide later on once your flowers are dry.
